Spring Favourites 2025

Hello! It's been a while since I've sat down to write a new post. I'm currently sat in my garden, enjoying the beautiful Spring sun. It's the Easter holidays whilst I'm starting this, so I've actually got some free time and I've missed writing about the things I love so much. So naturally, I thought a favourites post was a good place to start! It's also birthday season for me, which always makes for new discoveries and obsessions. Let's jump in!

One Wish by Kylie cosmetics

I'm reaaaally in love with my makeup routine this year, more so than I've been in years. I really feel like the products in my everyday makeup bag right now are the absolute best products for me and my skin. I've also figured out this year that it's the enhancing of my lips and brows make the biggest difference to me! A lot of my confidence comes from those two steps. One of my absolute favourite lip formulas of all time is the Kylie Cosmetics Liquid Lip Kits, post 2021 reformulation. Before this, I did find them too drying on me and much preferred her velvet formula, so if you haven't tried the matte lip kits since 21, I really would recommend giving them another go! I've been wearing a bunch of different shades this spring but my most worn has to be One Wish. It's neutral, lasts so long and is great for everyday wear!

Paramount by Mac

For my birthday this year, my partner gifted me this Mac lipstick which is one of the lipsticks regularly worn by Rachel in Friends! I'm a huge friends fan and lipstick lover so have been absolutely loving having this in my collection. As Jennifer Aniston has a darker and warmer complexion than me, I wasn't sure how well it would suit me, but I absolutely love it! I'm so surprised at how flattering it looks on so many people.

Soft Pinch Liquid Contour by Rare Beauty

I purchased this at the start of spring and it's been a staple ever since. I find bronzer so much more wearable and natural now as this blends flawlessly and has a great colour range, so I actually have a shade I feel matches me perfectly and isn't too orange. Would highly recommend this product to anyone! I wear the shade Gentle.

Cosmic 2.0

I have and love the original cosmic perfume but oh my goodness, Cosmic 2.0 smells incredible. For my birthday my parents and partner got me Cosmic 2.0 and the travel size for my handbag! This is the perfect combo as the only downside to this perfume is it doesn't always stay all day without reapplying. That could be annoying if I didn't have my travel size and if it didn't smell so incredible that it makes up for it's one flaw!!! Love.

My Bike

Once back from my gorgeous-as-always holiday in Center Parcs this Easter, I was very much missing riding a bike everyday. We got my childhood bike (that I will always and forever love so much) out of the garage but it was not in a good way. I spent weeks obsessing over bikes, looking at bikes in shops, researching my dream bike and I did find one that ticked all the boxes: a Pashley. Specifically a pink and cream Pashley. These models however, retail at £1,200. That's about £1000 over my bike budget. So then my obsession moved to scouring the second hand bike market, but turns out the colour way I was after was a rare one. Still, I found a few good condition Pashley's in other pretty colours for only a couple of hundred pounds over my bike budget and messaged a few people about seeing them, but most were too far away. Then one day, I saw it. My dream bike. The perfect colourway. In excellent condition. £50 UNDER my bike budget due to a damaged inner tube. Happy birthday to me, from me! We got her all fixed up and the morning after my birthday, I was riding down the strawberry line on my dream bike with my friends, lunch loaded up in the basket!

Boston tea party

Me and my sister have been loving a Boston Tea Party brunch lately. The hash browns are a staple and so incredible but my absolute faves are the Smoked Salmon Hash and the Berry Peachy Smoothie. So beyond delicious even writing about it is making me want to go now

Jellybeans

I can't remember the last time I've been this hung up on sweets. I've always loved sweets but in small portions, I've never been able to finish off a packet in one sitting. I am a jellybean monster. I can polish off a bag in under an hour, easy. My favourites are The Jellybean Factory: 36 huge flavours. I've also worked out my ranking of supermarkets own brand jellybeans:

1. M&S

2. Aldi/Lidl

3.  Tesco

4. Sainsbury's

you're welcome x

Macarons

One of my fave sweet treats of these last few years has to be the macarons by Anna's in Clifton. More specifically, the cake batter flavour. Me, my sister and mum often share a box with a selection of favours, I adore this little tradition, but for my birthday this year my sister got me a box of just cake batter all for myself. It was absolutely divine. A top tier gift. They taste like little drops of heaven and you don't get sick of them the more you eat, they just keep tasting better. Seriously.

Burritos & Yogoo!

Thought I'd bundle these together as they're both Bristol based foods! In the May half term, me and Iestyn found ourselves in Bristol almost everyday. Which meant a lot of fro-yo and burritos were consumed too! Honestly these days I'm pretty much always in the mood for a burrito. Coriander rice, cheese, extra cheese sauce, black beans, guacamole, salsa, chicken, pica de Gallo, sour cream... perfection. Yogoo! is simply the best fro-yo in the south west. We need fro-yo more readily available in the UK!!!

IKEA Apple Pie and Juices

Can't believe I'd never tried IKEA's apple pie before! I am a huge fan of anything apple flavoured, particular baked goods like apple pie. This was a really good, cinnamony one, and very affordable! I'm also obsessed with these cartons of juice, particularly the orange and red ones. Great flavour combinations. I didn't like the green so much.

G&T

My faaaavourite drink this spring has been non alcoholic G&Ts for sure. Tin or bottle, I love both. Nothing more refreshing on a sunny day!

Vanilla and Passionfruit Low Alcohol

They serve this pretty much everywhere in Center Parcs and it's unbelievably delicious. The vanilla kick just makes it so moreish and I did indeed have many during our holiday in April.

Pottery Painting at Center Parcs

As a fairly frequent visitor of Center Parcs, it is quite rare for me to try a brand new activity. I've wanted to do pottery painting for a while and even planned to book on before my holiday but just didn't think we'd have the time. When me and my mum spontaneously booked on during a quiet hour on our most recent trip, I was so unbelievably excited. It was such a delightful experience and the pottery area alone surpassed my expectations! It was such a soothing environment- peaceful and focused whilst everyone painted. I painted a bunny as it was easter Sunday! It was such a highlight of my trip and I think extremely needed as a creative, calm recharge hour too. Thank you to my wonderful mum for coming with me and making it even more special!

red cardigan

This was a love at first sight find at Next that I've been wearing non stop this spring! Been looking for a red cardigan since I saw Zoella's in vlogmas but failed to find one I liked that didn't have wool in! I love a faded, pure red and the fit of this is perfection. It was one of those rare, magical moments when you find something you've been looking for and it's even better than the version you imagined in your head. Is also still available to buy here!

my first gig

I still cannot put into words what this experience meant to me. My first proper gig with people getting tickets to see me?! The turn out being so full, with so many people I love in one room there to support me? Getting to do what I love more than anything in the whole wide world properly for the first time... with actual humans there to listen? Strangers buying my CDs? It needed to make this list for being one of my favourite things ive ever done in my lifetime, let alone this spring, but also because I worked so so so hard for this. My entire spring was practing and coming up with setlist and scrapping songs and endless chats with my close people about the stage layout and outfits and equipment. I am so phenomenally grateful. Nothing I say will ever do justice to what this means to me.

And on that gloriously joyful note, we'll leave it there! I hope you've had a beautiful spring full of things that you love.
