June Favourites 2018

Superdrug Micellar Face Wipes

So I know this must seem like the most random thing to put in my favourites, but I'm genuinely so impressed with these! I grabbed them because I've ran out of face wipes and just happened to be in superdrug but when I pulled one out later on to clean my arm full of swatches, they all came off perfectly in one swipe! They also remove my makeup so gently and you don't have to rub at yours eyes for hours to get eyeliner etc off. So easy and kind on the skin!

Soph X Revolution Extra Spice Palette

I honestly don't know where to start. I'm beyond impressed with this palette like.. it's probably my most used palette ever already and I've only had it a few weeks. I've used it every single day since it arrived on the 11th of june, and that's crazy for me as I love using new palettes and trying new looks all the time. The amount of completely different looks you can create with this one palette is impressive, and the majority of shades are so unique which is so rare in the drug store. My favourite shades are 21 and sunkissed. I recommend this palette to anyone and everyone!

Revolution Stick Foundation

I purchased this foundation to test out in a video, which you can watch here, and although it feels a little bit heavy on some areas in this heat, it's pretty damn good for £5! It blends heavenly, doesn't break me out and is so customisable to what you want on the day. It looks amazing with a light layer, or just in the areas you want some coverage, or full coverage! When I went to center parcs this month, I took this foundation and my trusty born this way.. and I genuinely reached for the Revolution foundation every. time. That says a lot for me!

Mac Fix +

I bought a travel sized version of this as it's such a cult classic in the world of makeup and I'd never tried it! I've been using Urban Decays All Nighter religiously for years now. I started using fix + around mid June and it's honestly changed the game for me! Though it doesn't have the insane stay time of all nighter, It's so fresh and light and keeps your skin looking amazing all day! I've loved using it in this heat and it cools me down so much and it's not sticky at all! Now I've tried it, I won't be able to live without!

Revolution Pro Supreme Eyeshadow Palettes

I have two of revolution pros supreme palettes and I honestly think the quality and pigment of the metallics is unlike any palettes I've ever swatched. It's incredible and I cannot understand for the life of me why they aren't being spoke about all over the youtube/ blogging beauty scene. They're only £6 and have the most impressive formula of any shadows I own! Obsessed! If you're in super drug anytime soon I really do recommend swatching a tester so you understand why I'm so excited about these products. I have allure and bewitch.

Mac Stone Lipstick

About a week or so ago, me and mum spent the evening watching back old videos of me from a few years ago. It was really interesting for me to see how differently I did my makeup when I was at school and how adventurous I was with lipsticks compared to how I am now! The next day I decided to dig out Stone by Mac as I used to wear it all the time but haven't lately as it's such a bold colour and I actually ended up really loving it! I've been wearing it with bronze eye looks and matte brown smokey eyes and I'm obsessed all over again! I also love the formula of it for a matte, it's full coverage yet still manages to feel super creamy on the lips without looking it!

Revolution Blush Palette in Hot Spice

I picked this up from town at the start of this month and have been using it almost every day since! I love the idea of a blush palette as you have so many options in one place. They are all also perfectly pigmented and blend sooo well! My favourite shade is probably the shimmery deeper pink, however I do also love the how the second from the left on the top row looks on my skin. Highly recommend to everyone, even people a little shy on blush as it's so easy to use.

Desperate Housewives

If you know me, you may know that I got hooked on this show about 3 years ago and just as I neared the end of series one.. it got taken off sky box sets. CMON?! Ever since then I've been checking back every few weeks and even tried to buy it on apple or amazon but I couldn't find it anywhere for under £60! But at the start of this month, something magical happened. IT'S BACK! I've been watching it whenever possible, I've even downloaded the sky go app onto my phone so I can watch it whilst doing my makeup.. it's awful how addicted I am! I decided to watch from the start again as I was so excited to experience it properly and fall in love all over again and I'm already half way through season 2.

Haribo Giant Apples

If you haven't seen my most recent blog/social media posts then you might not know I spent the weekend in London not long ago. Whilst there, we stumbled accross a Haribo shop and I was so eager to go in! Me and Iestyn are obsessed with strawbs so we went straight over to see the big boxes and bags you can get there, only to discover that they do apple versions! If you know me at all then you'll know I'm obsessed with anything apple flavoured so I was over the moon! I didn't even hesitate on getting a big box even tho I'd have to carry it, along with my heavy overnight luggage and hand bag, on all the tubes and home on the train! It was well worth the achy arms!

Reputation Tour!

I. Can't. Even. I've got a dedicated blog post coming up soon where I talk all things Taylor, but I had to briefly mention it in my favourites too! I've been to a lot of concerts considering I'm only 18 and I'm so grateful for that, and this was definitely in the top 2! The only concert that comes close is my front row 5sos concert because there's something so special about actually being able to smile at them and have them come over and wave at you etc. Anyway, she put on the perfect show with a killer setlist, amazing stage designs, perfect support acts and special guest and even fire and fireworks! It was quite the performance and done so flawlessly I was grinning with unbelievable happiness every single second. I wish I could even come close to describing how phenomenal it felt witnessing such a special show but you really can't understand unless you were there. If you're not from the UK and reading this (I know from my statistics there are quite a few of you!) then you should really check it out if the Rep tour comes anywhere near you! I can promise you won't be disappointed!
