Hey! I want to start by saying how much I loved doing this post. When it's been a long term at work I seem to lose myself in comfortable trousers, practical shoes and the same 3 dresses. I love dressing to express and putting outfits together, and after adulting for too long at work, I find it hard to find that part of me again in the holidays. This post really gave me a reason to dive straight back in headfirst and find my style again! Over the course of a week, there's no real theme holding these outfits together besides the fact I love them and they're what I gravitated towards on the day. I also wore several new pieces of clothing I had bought and never worn because I couldn't find the occasion or hadn't managed to easily work it into an outfit before, so that was exciting!
Monday
Top - Hollister
Trousers - Next
A neutral moment! This is a funny one to begin with because it's almost work-meets-casual with the smart trousers and smart elements of the top (button up, long sleeve, collar). However, it's kept casual with the mesh fabric and cropped fit. Monday's outfit almost works as a bridge between the two me's! A perfect transition into the task at hand. Paired with no makeup and a messy bun, I love this look!
Tuesday
Top - Skims
Cardigan - Taylor Swift Store
Joggers - Hollister
Chill comfies for a chill day. I find it deeply satisfying how the blue leg matches with my crop top and the green leg matches with the details on my cardigan. All ties together for a cohesive but easy look!
Wednesday
shoes - Matalan
Cardigan - TU
Jeans - Misguided
This is still one of my favourite casual sunny day outfits. There's not much for me to say about it other than I think it's cute! The tie straps of the cami and the beautiful boho lace are very much up my street lately in terms of simple fashion with pretty little details.
Thursday
Now, I can never seem to go very long without some extreme pops of colour making their way into my outfits. I can plan to be cool and casual and neutral all I want, I will still have at least one day in a week looking like this. I can't help it! I love how flattering these Lucy & Yak trousers are and how comfortably they fit my curves. The top is a charity shop find that I hadn't managed to place in an outfit before, but I think it found a happy home here! Although they didn't make it into the photographs, I paired this look with my sunflower yellow converse hightops.
Friday
This is one of those outfits that is only complete with outerwear and accessories. Love the top and tee, always cute pieces, but the borg jacket really brings it all together with the bag and shoes as the finishing touches. Love this one and have reworn this look since!
And that's it! Not a full week as I spend most weekends like this...
... in my cosy skims and Victoria Secret PJs! I hope you've found something in this post, whether it's direct outfit inspiration or just general inspiration to put on your favourite outfit tomorrow!
