Good American Jeans - Good Curve Straight Jeans in Blue 858

I've recently been on a mission for that perfect pair of jeans. I've never owned any exspensive, good quality 'investment jeans' before and have always just got topshop jeans or random brands in the asos sale which never fit my body that well. After making the decision to invest in some long term jeans, I began the search, which I knew would take a while but I had no idea just how impossible it would end up feeling.. that was until I found the brand Good American. When I say they changed my life, I'm being less overdramatic than you might think ;) I was able to buy my regular size and they actually FIT, they suited my body shape and didn't make my curves look squeezed in and they're the comfiest trousers I've ever worn. not just jeans, bottoms in general. They've really helped me find my confidence in jeans again. I wear jeans all the time now- I'm sad when they're in the wash!

Skims Scoop Neck Bra

I've always heard a lot of great things about the skims fits everybody bra in scoop neck but only tried it out for myself in Feb! I've owned and loved the fits everybody triangle bralette for so long now, so I know I love the fabric, but this style?! Truly worth the hype. I can't wait to purchase it in further colours, and possibly try it out from the cotton jersey collection as well.

Skims Cotton Rib Boxers

These are another raved about product that I hadn't tried for myself until recently. I was in search of something comfy to sleep in and boy did I find it. I recommend sizing up if you're thinking about them more for sleep than lounge, though.

Converse High Tops

I've always been a converse gal, but for the first time since I was about 8, I've been living in my high tops! To be honest, the main reason I stopped wearing them was out of pure laziness. I've always loved the way they look, but lately I've been trying to grow out of my bad habits like not wearing my favourite shoes because I can't be bothered to do the laces. Little things that make me happy are worth the efforts! I feel happiest in my high tops, especially my sunflower yellow pair from iestyn!

Rare Beauty Foundation

I think I've finally found that foundation that makes you forget all other foundations. I used to have a collection of foundations for different finishes/coverages/vibes but Rare Beauty is just better than every single one of those. You can wear a really small amount for a natural vibe, build it up for a full face- I'm yet to find a time when it's not simply perfect. It stays in place, it doesn't break me out whatsoever. It's the one for me, when you know you know, and I finally know that feeling for myself...

Colourpop Animal Crossing Lip Tints

I've had these for a while but they've only really came into main rotation in my makeup collection this spring. They're exactly what I want on my lips at this time of year- pigmented, soft colours and super hydrating. They also smell UNREAL. They remind me of flip n lick lollies scent wise, which I loved so much when I was younger. Oh yeah and they're animal crossing fruit themed so they're cute af. What more could you want?! My favourite shade is pear one!

Garnier Ultimate Blends Conditioner

As someone with curly hair that tends to frizz up when drying, this leave in conditioner is a game changer for me. Whether my hair is air drying or I dry it with the airwrap, I have minimal friz & it feels sooo much softer in texture. As someone with bleached hair, I really enjoy it's strengthening formula. This conditioner + the airwrap = my hairs ride or dies rn.

Alexa

We got an Alexa in March and I've been listening to music so much more because of it. Every time a song pops into my head I can just ask her to play it without even having to stop what im doing. she makes my lazy girl dreams come true.

Harry's House

If you've seen my review (you can find it in the left side column under 'Ella Recommends' if not) you'll know how obsessed I am with this album. It's been on repeat since the day it came out, so of course I had to include it on this list. The tracks I've been playing the most are Little Freak, Daylight and Grapejuice.

Red (Taylor's Version)

The album I played most in the build up to Harry's House being released was Red! Despite it being an autumn album, I've been playing it all spring. I think the release of Taylor's version helped firmly cement it's top spot as my favourite album of all time. The tracks I've been playing the most are Treacherous, Message in a Bottle & Forever Winter.

Stranger Things

I'd like to keep this a season 4 spoiler free zone as I'm aware there are still people who haven't finished volume one yet, so I'll keep it simple. I loved being plunged back into the world of stranger things yet again. It remains one of my favourite shows, and although I found the idea of longer episodes slightly daunting, it was worth it. We also rewatched season 3 in preparation and honestly think it might be one of my favourite seasons of any tv show ever! so iconic and is it weird for me to say season 3 is my comfort season?! idk but it's true.

Friends

Over the years Friends has been such a comfort to me. No matter what worries are on my mind, I can trust Friends to not only never trigger me, but to actually reassure. I've loved having that safe place lately. <3

Gerbils

I still can't quite believe I'm saying this but I got two gorgeous baby gerbils in May! There's been a huge hole in my heart since the passing of Rufus and Waffles and I've missed the infectious happiness that gerbils radiate, or at least that R & W did. I lucked out big time in adopting gorgeous little gerbils with big personalities yet again! Comment down below if you'd enjoy reading a post introducing these little ones to the blog soon!

Bongo

When on holiday with my gals, we found the famous build a bear frogs!! Of course I got one- a friendship frog with three hearts, one for each of us. Now every day when I see him sat on my bed I think of our perfect holiday and my lovely gals :)

To All The Boys I've Loved Before

To all the boys has definitely been in my top 3 guilty pleasure movies ever since it came out, but this spring I read the book for the first time! Oh my goodness it was just like sunshine in easy reading book form. It made me so happy and despite knowing what was ultimately going to happen, still had me binge reading! I've been really into feel good comfort reads lately and this one is a new fave. It felt safe but also exciting. The characters all felt warm and real, which funnily enough is something I find rare with books like these. Already looking forward to reading this again when I need a pick me up!
